Antique Hudson Pool Table - Now on Display!
While Peters Billiards & Home prides itself on displaying a large collection of high quality, modern era pool tables, we also have an extensive collection of antique pool tables. We have a handful on display in our Minneapolis showroom for you to view the beauty and envy at the construction and intricate detailing of each table.
We recently welcomed to our showroom the impressive 9’ Hudson Antique table. Manufactured by the J.M. Brunswick-Balke Collender Co. between 1919-1926, the Hudson table was apart of the massive Jumbo framework tables known for their unusual strength and design.
A beautiful representative of the Jumbo-series, the Hudson boasts Circassian Walnut veneer frame with elaborate Ebony and Mother of Pearl inlays. Circassian walnut is a type of English walnut highlighted with swirls and curves.
This table was once apart of the famous Minneapolis Recreation Building. A staple for anyone wanting to enjoy a night out playing billiards or bowling, this building had 4 floors of entertainment, including 68 pool tables.
