About Me - Peters Billiards Design Stylist

Hello! I’m Stephanie Otte, the design stylist at Peters Billiards. I graduated from University of Wisconsin Stout in 2007 with a degree in Retail Merchandising and Management and a concentration in Interior Design. With this degree it has allowed me to become an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). This national group offers memberships, based on degree and years of experience, to those in the design profession. They do require continuing education to keep me up to speed on the design industry.

My love of design started at a young age. I was constantly giving color and design advice to my parents and enjoyed re-decorating my room. Visiting the Parade of Homes was a definite highlight and I even asked for Home Design computer software for Christmas. I loved visualizing what a space can become. With this passion it just seemed natural that I would pursue a career in the design industry. I found my way to Peters Billiards shortly after graduation. I started my career here in 2008 and haven’t looked back!

I would consider myself a lover of all design styles, as I can appreciate design and each aesthetic for what it is. Whether that be contemporary or traditional or anything in between, I have a passion for quality workmanship and material. I would say my own personal design style is modern-rustic-elegance. It’s a blend of a few styles, traditional with a twist. Right now I’m a fan of mixing old with new and using variety of different mediums to do so.
